Ram Charan's Toofan and Ram's Masala are both sneaking off to a later date. We don't know the reasons except for a vague 'unavoidable circumstances' excuse.
It is true that there is gloom and darkness over Telugu Film Industry this month. Major releases are postponed and other small budget flicks have failed at the box office. Big time.
Toofan's audio will be out next week, on the 28th of August. It will be a small function, rather than a mega affair like usual. Reasons range from uncertainty to security.
Masala, Ram and Venky's comedy, is slated for a September release. It's audio release was supposed to happen soon. Ram says, "Ok., sudden change again... audio release pushed a bit due to unavoidable circumstances… sry ppl..will update soon..." Guess we can count on Ram for certainty over this one.
Meanwhile, the audio of NTR's Ramayya Vasthavayya is also about to happen. Interestingly, both Masala and Ramayya Vasthavayya albums have been composed by Thaman. Director Harish Shankar is very excited. In his words, “Yesssss Thaman did one of his careers Best albums for RV. Super excited, will announce audio release date soon.”
If this month was bad, next month will be the opposite.
