Rana Daggubati has recently expressed that he wanted to work for his home production. Despite having acted in many popular films, Rana had until now not associated himself with his dad's Suresh Production. Now, there is news that he is doing what he intended to.

The tall actor has been signed on for a new project with the home production house. Director Hanu Raghavapudi will take up the direction for this new film, the script of which is still being worked on. Tentatively named 'Kavacham' the film will once again show Rana in a solo hero avatar.

Rana was previously seen in multi-starrer films in Bollywood. His solo hero movies did not do much magic at the box office. Currently, he is working on more multi-starrers Bahubali and Rundramadevi with Anushka. Both movies are period action films, in addition to having the same heroine.

With the new solo project, Rana has not only found his roots, but may also find his niche in the film industry.
