Suriya has long ago pledged his commitment to actress Jyothika. Similarly, he is also committed to his professional peers by way of new films. Delighting fans, he had reportedly given his word to director Puri Jagannath, who had managed to grab a few precious moments with the actor during his trip to Hyderabad.
The director had previously expressed his interest to work with the actor in Prince Mahesh's Businessman remake. When that didn't work, Puri waited for the right moment, which came during the promotions of Suriya's Singam.
If reports are to be believed, Suriya is very impressed with Puri and will soon give him time for a film together. The Tamil actor has plenty of fan following in Andhra Pradesh too, particularly among the girls. Recently, we have seen him test his singing talent, which turned out to be mesmerizing.
Despite the following, Suriya is very much in love with his 'humble' wife Jyothika and said that her sincerity was what made him fall head over heels for her. They were married in 2006 and the 'Ghajini' star still supports her in all her decisions.
