It was a fun event when Ramayya Vasthavayya audio arrived. Jr NTR looked his fittest ever, wearing understated casuals, but making a huge impression. Cast and crew, including producer Dil Raju, were all smiles throughout the function, which was organized in a simple manner.
Director Harish Shankar even joked that they are having a ball as this is not a typical audio release function. Jr NTR started off his speech with a mournful reminder of a fan's death during Baadshah audio release. Later, he went on the praise all his directors along with RV cast and technicians.
Others who gave their speeches had a lot of praises for anyone associated with RV. Jr praised Thaman for his wonderful music, Harish Shankar praised Shruti Hassan for doing justice to the 'Ammulu' character and Samantha later praised the director for completing the shoot in record time.
Shruti Hassan and Sam were missing from the event, one due to an injury and the latter due to her commitments elsewhere. Hamsa Nandini's presence added considerable spice to the proceedings. Trailer release was accepted with much enthusiasm. The film promises to be a visual feast and an entertaining blockbuster from Jr NTR.
All songs, especially Jabilli Nuvvecheppamma, compliments not only the film's look and feel but also Jr NTR. Ramayya Vasthavayya will stand as a milestone in the actor's life. This can be said with confidence as what Harish hinted at turned out to be very true. Jr will be shown at his career best, competing effectively with Telugu Cinema's previous and upcoming big films.
