The end of October will see two major films head to head at the theaters. Though the release of Bhai and Masala are spaced a week apart, after Nagarjuna brings out his guns, Masala is coming to paint the town red, yellow and pink. Nagarjuna is the single man army for Bhai, which will have competition from 3 heroes in Masala.
Masala features Venkatesh and Ram in the lead roles. You may wonder where the third hero is coming from. Well, Ram is playing a single role, but is portraying two different characters. Like he says in the trailer, “he is me, but I am not him.” In simper words, he playing the role of Ram as well as Rahman, with only the first character sporting a mustache.
Ram had to remove his mustache to play the character of Rahman in Masala. Now that the cat's out of the bag, Masala is keeping all attention firmly on Venkatesh and Ram's comedy act. The film is releasing on 1st November, with its sights fixed on making good moolah at the box office.
Bhai, the audio of which has earned appreciation, will have one week to establish itself as a steady runner. Nagarjuna had cleverly used some spoofs on Pawan Kalyan's Gabbar Singh to keep all sections of the audiences alert. The film's trailer takes pot shots at setting trends, much to the amusement of Pawan fans. Popular talk is that, Nag managed a wily promotional tactic to draw in the crowds for Bhai. Let us watch how the fight with Masala will shape up.
