Ram Gopal Varma who has been facing criticism and satirical comments on his latest film "Satya-2" released a press note that he is filing a criminal case on one of the Censor Officer Dhana Lakshmi because of which Satya-2 is put to loss.
But the media is reluctant in buying his idea. The critics say that Varma is pulling another stunt to pull audience to the theaters on Monday in spite of the low talk on the movie.
Varma says that the media has to wait and see on Monday to know that his lawyer is really moving the Criminal Courts in Nampally after filing of which the lawyer will speak to the media about the case. He also asked all the previous victims of Dhana Lakshmi to form a crusade to fight by joining hands.
Varma also said that he is not doing it for the sake of getting hype on the issue but his intensions are clear about it.
Media has long memories. RGV’s protest against Jandhyala at the time of releasing Govinda Govinda movie is not forgotten. Jandhyala who too was a producer and brought a new wave of movies with hilarious themes was working for the Censor Office at that time. Varma complained that Jandhyala caused some of the key scenes in the movie deleted.
