Reacting to the accusations of Ram Gopal Varma, the Regional Officer of Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) A.Dhana Lakshmi explained that the decision is not her own. The Jury consisting of five members watched the movie that includes her as a normal policy. As such the suggestion to make some cuts in the film is a collective one but not her decision alone.

Dhana Lakshmi explained that the names used in the film closely resemble real life persons. She said that the committee of the Censor Board has communicated it to the film maker to change the names of the characters.  The Censor Board has received a complaint from a news channel that the name of CEO was used in the movie.  Acting upon it the Board asked Varma to make changes.

Dhana Lakshmi complains that Varma instead of going to the revising committee opted to move the court of law as a choice of his own.

Ram Gopal Varma accused Dhana Lakshmi that she harassed him, caused financial loss to him and crossed her authority.
