A book on Telugu film director Adurti Subba Rao's life is released at Hyderabad.
A book on the famous director of Adurti Subba Rao written by H.Ramesh Babu citing important incidents in the life of the successful director is released by equally successful director Kala Tapasvi K.Viswanadh and handed over the first copy of it to Mahesh Babu.
The release function was held at the residence of Super Star Krishna at Nanakramguda Hyderabad. The function was attended by Krishna, Vijaya Nirmala, Manjula, Namrata along with the writer of the book.
Adurti Subba Rao was a successful director of Telugu films who directed about 40 films out of which two were in Tamil and 10 in Hindi. He started his career as Assistant Director for Balanandam in 1954. His last film was Mahakavi Kshetrayya in 1976 featuring Akkineni Nageswara Rao.
Adurti Subba Rao co produced two films with Akkineni Nageswara Rao. Sudigundalu and Maro Prapancham. Mugamanasalu, Dr.Chakravarthy, Sumangali, Velugu Needalu, Pularangadu were some of his successful movies. He directed Tene Manasulu introducing many new artists. Super star Krishna was one of them who played a negative role in the movie.
