The movie 'Chandramukhi' with Rajinikanth, Prabhu, Nayantara and Jyothika one of the hit movies of the superstar Rajinikanth is considered by the director P.Vasu to make a sequel of it provided Rajinikanth agrees to play the lead role in it. 

Director Vasu who already made a sequel that was a hit in Kannada, wants to do it with Rajinikanth in Tamil and Telugu.

But the proposal seems to have remote chances to become reality as Rajinikanth’s priority is the movie Kochadaiyaan which is taken as a prestigious project by his daughter Aiswarya. He also has a commitment to director Shankar is pending.

Above all when the Rajinikanth’s health is also considered, the sequel to Chandramukhi has very less chances to take shape.
