The Director of the film "1" Sukumar says that Mahesh is just a wonder.  He said it in the audio release function held at Hyderabad Shilpa Kala Vedika on Friday.

It is so great an experience to work with Mahesh, Sukumar says, that he did not want to conclude it fast.  That is why it took two years, he says smiling.  Sukumar says that Mahesh will not be available for him to see once the film is completed.  And that thought made him slow down the making of the film.

It is a talk in the film industry that Mahesh Babu takes his own time to complete a movie and that causes long time for the movie to come to its final shape.  His fans also eagerly wait for the movie to conclude along with the film makers and artists associated with the film.  He doesn’t want a hurried filming with tension. 

But the director of the film “1”  Sukumar says that the long time taken in finishing the movie is not because of Mahesh Babu but because of him as he wanted to be close with him for as long as possible.  It reminds a child’s wish to relish a chocolate and at the same time an attempt to keep the chocolate intact for as long time as it can be.

Another complaint against him is that he does not strain in dance sequences as what the cine critics observe.  But, Mahesh Babu promised in the audio release function that his fans will not get disappointed with his dances in the movie “1”.
