Bollywood actress Preity Zinta who shot to fame in Telugu with Premante Idera and Rajakumarudu films might fight in the upcoming general elections. Preity is likely to contest for the Lok Sabha seat on behalf of the Bharatiya Janata Party from North-Central Mumbai constituency. Currently Congress MP Priya Dutt is representing this constituency.

BJP General Secretary Rajiv Pratap Rudy who is distant relative of Preity is keen in roping her as they want a celebrity on field to give a tight fight to Congress MP Priya Dutt and the party find Preity to be the right choice for the tough fight. However reports say that Preity has declined the offer but Rudy is still trying his best.

Preity's last Bollywood flick ‘Ishkq In Paris’ bombed at box office. She also an IPL team and currently rumors are that she is deep financial crisis.
