Heroines from the South Film Industry are slowly moving to Bollywood to make it big there. Ileana, Tamannah, Shruti Haasan, Taapsee and few more made quite good start and in the 2013, few of them faced success and failure too.
So here we are presenting the leading ladies Bollywood films which are expected to hit screens in 2014. Though we don't know how many will strike gold at box office but we wish all of them good luck.
Ileana D'Cruz
After Barfi, Ileana had a disappointment with Phata Poster Nikla Hero but then offers are pouring down for his hip beauty. Currently Ileana's Main Tera Hero starring Varun Dhawan is getting ready for release. After this project, Ileana will be seen opposite to Saif Ali Khan in Happy Ending.
Tamannah Bhatia
Tamannah's Bollywood career did not start as expected. Himmatwala is a disaster at box office and this milky beauty became very selective. Now Tamannah is doing in Sajid Khan’s Humshakals, co-starring Saif Ali Khan, Bipasha Basu. Then she will pair with Akshay Kumar for Its Entertainment.
Shruti Haasan
With Ramaiya Vastavaiya and D-Day, Shruti impressed the Bollywood filmmakers. At present Shruti has two films in her bag and they are Welcome Back, co-starring Nana Patekar, Anil Kapoor and John Abraham, and Gabbar, co-starring Akshay Kumar.
Kriti Sanon
She is most talked lady in the Tollywood for making her debut opposite to Mahesh Babu in 1-Nenokkadine. Kriti will make her Bollywood debut later this year in Sajid Nadiadwala's Heropanti, which also marks the launch of Jackie Shroff’s son Tiger.
Taapsee Pannu
After tasting success with Chashme Badoor, Taapsee Pannu relocated to Mumbai and trying her luck in Bollywood. Taapsee will be seen in Running Shaadi.com which stars Kai Po Che actor Amit Sadh.
Asin
The most successful lady from South in Bollywood and also joined the league of Rs 100 crore last year. She will be seen in Umesh Shukla's All Is Well with her Bol Bachchan co-star Abhishek Bachchan. Also Asin has Anees Bazme’s No Entry Mein Entry in pipeline.
Meera Chopra
Not many know that she is Priyanka Chopra’s cousin but then she did not take the advantage of it. Meera Chopra did quite bit films in Tamil and Telugu, now she is all set to make her Bollywood debut with Gang of Ghosts. Apart from this Meera has been roped in Vikram Bhatt's 1920 London.
