Telugu entertainment channel Gemini tv has bagged the satellite rights of two top movies for a handsome price and they are Akkineni's Manam and Mahesh Babu's Aagadu. Reports say that Gemini has bought Manam satellite rights for Rupees 7 crores while for Aagadu the channel has quoted a never heard price. Aagadu was sold for Rs 9.75 crores and this is the highest bid for any Telugu movie so far.

In the past, MAA tv used to give tough fight in the satellite rights but these days Gemini tv is the front runner and is taking no back foot in terms of getting a STAR movie. Previously, Gemini also bagged Allu Arjun's Race Gurram satellite right for Rupees 7 crores.

Looks like the makers are making some money with the satellite rights also. Anyways a good way to recover few losses, isn't it ?
