Stylish Star Allu Arjun who will be making a special appearance as Gona Gannareddy in Rudhramadevi will undergo special training for his cameo. As the movie is a historical drama flick, director Gunasekhar asked Bunny to get trained for action sequences. Abiding by the instructions of director, Allu Arjun has decided to work on his physique and fitness levels.

Rudhramadevi has Anushka Shetty and Rana Daggubati in the lead roles while Krishnam Raju, Nitya Menen, singer Baba Sehgal will be seen in crucial roles. The shooting of the film has reached final stages and the makers are aiming for Dussehra release.

Gunasekhar is producing as well as directing the film on Guna Team works banner. Maestro Ilaiyaraaja is composing tunes for Rudhramadevi.
