It is the season of sons entering the film industry. Recently we have seen a popular producer son making debut as hero and now a director's son has joined this list. Well he is none other than Akash Puri who is the son of sensational director Puri Jagannadh. As a child artist, Akash is well known to the Telugu audience and his mark as hero has got official confirmation.

Akash will make his debut with a Marathi remake film titled 'Time Pass' and also a new director will be helming the project instead of Puri. 'Time Pass' is teenage love story and Akash who is in his teens perfectly fits the bill of the male lead.  The film will have a grand launch shortly and remaining details are awaited.

Puri worked hard to prove himself as a successful director and wish Akash follows his dad footsteps.
