Ilayathalapathy Vijay's 'Kaththi' has entered Rs 100 crores club and it is Vijay's second film to reach this figure. Music composer of the film Anirudh was all excited about this project and tweeted, "#Kaththihitsfastest100cr Total theatrical collection-100.7cr 65.1 TN, 20.2 Overseas, 15.4 Others.”

Amidst controversies, Kaththi is still running successfully and is the fastest Tamil movie to reach Rs 100 crores club. Interesting, Vijay's other movie was Thuppaki which was also directed by AR Murugadoss.

Samantha played the love interest of Kaththi and she too got the much needed break in Kollywood.
