Megastar Chiranjeevi will be adopting a village as part of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's 'Samsad Adarsh Grama Yojana' initiative. According to the highly reliable sources, Chiranjeevi has decided to adopt Perupalem village in Mogalthurru Mandal in West Godavari district. In fact Mogalthurru happens to be the home town of Chiranjeevi and it is good gesture from Chiru to do something for his birth land.

Chiranjeevi will soon visit the village and launch several welfare programs and the high priority is to look after the development of village in each and every way. The list of celebrities adopting a village is increasing day by day but ironically only the Law makers are getting involved.

This will be the second village from Andhra Pradesh state to get adopted by Rajya Sabha and Indian Cricket legend Sachin Tendulkar is already adopting PR Kandriga village from Nellore district.
