The hurdles for Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa' movie are mounting as the film is approaching its theatrical release day. The case which was filed in Madras High Court, did not get any solution while the makers are seriously worried. And now Lingaa movie ran into another controversy with a producer claiming in the Madras High Court that the story is a copy of a Telugu film.
Tamil producer Kartheeka filed a petition in which she accused director KS Ravikumar of copying the storyline of 'Indra' movie. The petitioner also said she has bought the remake rights of Indra movie in 2010 and urged the court to restrain Lingaa release till the copyright infringement issue is sorted out.
However, director KS Ravikumar has denied all these allegations. The hearing of this case has been adjourned to December 12. Recently at the audio success meet in Hyderabad, Rajini was seriously upset with hurdles that are troubling Lingaa movie and he said, the story of the film has nothing to do with anyone.
Anyways, let's hope by this Friday, Lingaa will have a grand release and warm welcome.
