The Madras High Court has directed the producer of Rajinikanth's 'Lingaa' movie to deposit Rs 10 crores and go ahead with the film's theatrical release. As we all know that a writer has approached the court claiming 'Lingaa' story to be his and the court heard the arguments on Thursday. After thorough arguments from both the sides, the court granted the makers of the film to release on conditions.
Rockline Venkatesh, who is the producer of 'Lingaa' movie, said that he would respect the judgment and will release the movie at any cost tomorrow. This Friday also happens to be Rajini's birthday and 'Lingaa' is carrying mammoth expectations.
Bollywood Dabanng lady Sonakshi Sinha is making her South debut with 'Lingaa' while Anushka Shetty and Jagapathi Babu will be seen in crucial roles. KS Ravikumar is director. 'Lingaa' is releasing in 2500 theatres worldwide.
