Bollywood baadshah Shah Rukh Khan has revealed that it was Salman Khan who pushed him to make Diwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge [DDLJ] film and predicted that the movie would be a bigger hit than 'Maine Pyar Kiya.'  Shah Rukh was sceptical about the film because he has done negative roles previously and wasn't sure whether audience would accept him as a romantic hero.  

Salman Khan not only said the movie would be a super hit but went on to say, the film will be blockbuster than 'Maine Pyar Kiya.'  DDLJ completed 1000 weeks of its run in the very famous Maratha Mandir and Shah Rukh joined the celebration with Kajol.
