Universal Hero Kamal Haasan is set to reprise the role of Aamir Khan in the remake of 'PK.' According to the highly placed sources, Gemini Film Circuit has acquired the remake rights of 'PK' in Tamil and Kamal has been approached to play the lead role. Gemini holds an edge as they have already remade two of 'PK' director Rajkumar Hirani's flicks, down the South and they are impressed with the latest film too.

Kamal who is busy with 'Uttama Villain' and two other projects, will take a decision on director of Tamil 'PK' and shooting might start in the second half of the year. However, given the credibility of Kamal, it is not easy to play the role of Aamir in 'PK' as he appears in a nude scene.

Also, except for the 'Munnabhai MBBS' remake, rest of the remakes have bombed at box office and it needs an immense exercise to make 'PK' remake a decent hit at box office. The film might also get dubbed in Telugu.
