Akkineni Nagarjuna has taken a long gap from movies and his last movie released was Manam in which he acted with Akkineni Nageswara Rao and Naga Chaitanya. He has focused on a tv show Meelo Evaru Koteeswarudu which received huge response and hence Nag has been busy with the second season which has been completed recently. Nag has started shooting for his latest movie Soggade Chinni Nayana which started rolling last year and the film completed two schedules till date.

Kalyan Krishna is making his directorial debut with the movie and as per the latest news, the new schedule of the movie kick started today in Mysore. This long schedule will last for three weeks as per the update. Ramya Krishna and Lavanya Tripathi will be seen as the female leads in the movie and Nagarjuna will be seen in two different roles in the movie. Anchor Anasuya Bharadwaj will be seen in a cameo and the film has been produced by Nagarjuna on Annapurna Studios banner. Radha Mohan has penned the script and the movie will have its release in June this year.
