The video has received good applause as well as it has been criticized all over. Now Sonakshi has taken her turn to step down and she has criticized Deepika and she did not agree with Deepika Padukone's ideas.

The short film has been based on women empowerment and it has been released to spread awareness. "Women empowerment is not always about the kind of clothes you wear, not about who you want to have sex with or stuff like that. It's about employment, strength," Sonakshi said when she has been asked about the video. She also added that the initiative has been good enough except some stuff related to sex. Homi Adjania directed the video which has received mixed reviews all over.
