After Rajendra Prasad was appointed as the new president of Movie Artists Association (MAA), the industry was overwhelmed, especially the mega family is extending its support to him also presented a cheque for initiation of few activities.

With a donation of 2 lakhs from Ramcharan, 2 lakhs from Allu Arjun, Varuntej and Dharam Tej one lakh each, Nagababu  presented a cheque of 6 lakhs to the MAA president Rajendra prasad.

Speaking on the occasion, Nagababu said, if all the other top heroes too turn out to donate the amount, it would be much helpful for many of the poor artists.

Later Rajendra Prasad, spoke that he contested in the elections, just to support the poor artists in the industry. Only with that aim i went forward. There is no need to worry about the Corpus fund and pension amount, Nagababu already started donating, many of my friends are ready to give donations”. He further assured that there would be full fledged reforms in the association. All the further activities will be discussed in a general body meeting.

It was observed that from past few years, there are many struggles that are suffered by the poor artists due to the lack of pensions and proper residence. This might be the major drawback of Murali Mohan and many oppositions on him during the recent election. If Rajendra Prasad succeeds in it, then that would be the major strength of him for many years to come.
