Amidst of high expectations among the fans, Lion was out in theatres on Thursday. The film has opened to positive reviews.

Actually there are no heavy expectations on 'Lion' as the music which was released before being disappointing and also because of a debut director. Most of the film critics thought that Lion's fate would be decided to just a single show and might be out of the theatres very soon.

But putting down all those estimations, Lion is declared a hit now. All the reviews already declared that it is another hit from Balayya. More than Legend, this hit is more important to Balayya as many critics opined that Simha and Legend are successful only because of Boyapati. But coming to Lion, the credit of success can be completely owned by Balayya himself as the director of this flick is a debutante one.
