Kamal might have guessed before itself that the influence of Utthama Villain may not be for more days on the audience. That might be the reason for him to release the first look of his next film 'Papanasam' within a short time of the release of Utthama Villain.
As it is known, the film is a remake of a a blockbuster movie 'Drishyam'. In the original version, Mohanlal and Meena portrayed the lead roles. In 'Papanasam', Kamal and Gauthami are doing it.
Coming to the poster, Kamal along with Gauthami and children is seen riding a two wheeler. This is a typical style of a middle class family. The lead character in the film has more scope for acting. Mohanlal in Malayalam and Venkatesh in Telugu managed to give their best output. So it is needless to talk about Kamal's potentiality in these types of challenging roles.
Coming to Gauthami, though she was seen in a few of the TV shows as a host, she did not perform in any film from the past 2 decades. So 'Papanasam' is going to relaunch her again. Let's hope that she will be offered with much better films in the industry in her second innings too.
