Srimanthudu storm is still going strong all over the world, getting good collections and reports.

Mahesh recently celebrated his 40th birthday and Srimanthudu success gave the birthday celebartions double boost. As of now, Srimanthudu collections reached 2 million mark in US. With this, Mahesh overtook Attharintiki Daredi overseas collections. So currently Srimanthudu is in second place, where Baahubali is still holding the first place with 3 million dollars.  
      
In the long run, Srimanthudu is expected to cross 3 million dollars and to the surprise, Baahubali is still doing strong business in the overseas too. So Srimanthudu has to pick up its speed to overtake Baahubali records. 

International media praised Srimanthudu

Along with the positive talk in the Telugu states, Srimanthudu is now even praised by the international media. Regarding this, Forbes, an international biweekly business magazine, published an article on Srimanthudu, appreciating Mahesh Babu as a co- producer, and producing a huge budgeted film, under his own production company banner, G. Mahesh Babu Entertainment Pvt. Ltd.

Srimanthudu is directed by Mirchi fame Koratala Siva and Sruthi Haasan is the female lead. Devi Sri Prasad tunes are more appreciated along with the rerecording in the emotional scenes.

As of now, Pawan Kalyan’s Attharintiki Daredi holds the second place after Baahubali in terms of overall collections. Very soon Srimanthudu is expected to cross Pawan’s records and occupy that second place.
