Mass Raja Raviteja new film will be a super hit Bollywood remake Special 26, which gained critical appreciations from biggies of the industry.
Raviteja kept good hopes on the Kick 2 and said that it would be another blockbuster like Kick in his career. But unfortunately, his hopes on Kick 2 movie, turned as a curse, making it a below average movie. After that result, Raviteja started putting special concentration on his career.
As of now, already agreed Bengal Tiger movie and another movie under Venu Sri Ram direction will release as Raviteja new movies. After that, Raviteja is not in a mood to take the risk with the fresh subjects and so considering to remake the successful movies.
Regarding this, Raviteja seems interested in Akshay Kumar starrer ‘Special 26’ movie, which was released in 2013. Tamil director and producer Thyagarajan bought the remake rights of Special 26 movie in Tamil and Telugu. For Telugu version, he contacted Raviteja and the latter gave a nod. The movie might start after the completion of Bengal tiger movie and a movie with Venu Sri Ram.
However, Raviteja fans and other industry biggies are opining that, Special 26 subject might not get the Telugu smell and it would be tough to adopt and develop the Telugu version. After knowing Special 26 movie story, which revolves around the income tax officers raid with the jeweler, they came to this opinion.
But a few other opine that, if not commercial success, Special 26 remake in Telugu might be an experimental one, where awards and rewards can be expected. Along with commercial entertainers, Raviteja is any way open to these type of movies. Noncommercial movies like Na Autograph, Shambho Shiva Shambho are the best examples for it.
