Vijay’s prestigious movie Puli is all set to release in the theatres on October 1st and few of the technical details are now showing the way for Puli to cross Baahubali records.  

From the day Puli movie news was out, it is being considered as the toughest competitor to Indian epic Baahubali. Especially after the Puli movie trailer got a huge number of views and even crossed Baahubali trailer views, expectations, buzzes have increased on Puli movie.

Adding to these expectations, Kamalkannan, who won the National Award for Best Visual Effects Supervisor for Magadheera, had worked for Baahubali movie too. Now, he is even working for Vijay’s Puli movie too.

In a recent interview, Kamalkannan said that, “Eega and Magadheera had 1200 and 1600 VFX shots respectively, Baahubali had 2000 shots, whereas Puli movie had 2400 VFX shots, which is highest for any south Indian movie till date.”

Explaining briefly, Kamal Kannan said that, there are very huge characters in Puli movie like One Eyed Monster, Giant Tortoise, Black Panther etc, and is assuring a visual treat to the Indian movie lovers.  

After this announcement, Vijay fans are on cloud nine and are expressing confidence in Puli movie, to be a biggest blockbuster in the Indian film industry. In that sense, Baahubali, which could cross many blockbuster Bollywood films like Bajrangi Bhaijaan, Chennai express etc, stood next to Amir Khan’s PK.

If Vijay’s Puli movie secures hit talk and crosses PK movie records, then Puli movie will be the highest grosser of Indian film industry and, moreover a regional language movie holding the record, will increase Indian movies market.
