Comedian Kallu Chidambaram passed away

Popular Telugu comedian Kallu Chidambaram passed away, just a while, in a private hospital in Visakhapatnam.

Kallu Chidambaram acted in many Telugu movies for decades and acquired his own identity of dialogue delivery. He is specially identified for his two eyes, which appear as if he is looking at two opposite directions at the same time.

For 14 years, he went on performing cultural programmes without even taking rest and that was the result of his defect in the eyes. Upon having many debts, he tried his luck in movie industry and started his career with Kallu movie.

With that movie, Chidambaram was tagged with Kallu in front of his name and thus people started calling him as Kallu Chidambaram.

With the debut movie itself, Chidambaram got the Nandi award and Kalasagar (Chennai) award and later went forward, acting in many promising roles in the movies like Chanti, Ammoru, Kondaveeti Donga, Money, Govinda Govinda, Pelli Pandiri etc. He was last seen in a devotional film called Sri Sai Sankalpam in 2013.

In the recent times, where the film industry is losing many popular comedians and actors like MS Narayana, AVS, Dharmavarapu Subramanyam, Telangana Shakuntala, Laxmi Pathi etc, losing another comedian like Kallu Chidambaram, is surely a big loss to the film industry.

Andhrawishesh.com expressed heartfelt condolences to Kallu Chidambaram. May his soul rest in peace.
