Women associations protested against comedian Ali, alleging that, he made vulgar comments on heroines.
Comedian Ali is continuously in the news for quite some time, for his comments on heroines and anchors, in the public functions. The issue has come into the limelight, when Ali allegedly made vulgar comments on Anchor Suma in Son of Satyamurthy audio function. But the controversy has crossed its boundaries, after the recent Size Zero movie audio function.
In Size Zero audio launch, Ali commented about Anushka thighs. That was severely taken by women organizations and warned to protest against Ali.
Meanwhile, Ali had attended a felicitation programme of Snehanjali foundation in Visakhapatnam, Regarding this, he stayed in a hotel in the city. Taking this as an opportunity, the women organizations reached hotel and demanded Ali to come out.
Even the hotel authorities said that, Ali had left the place, the situation did not come to an end. It was then, the hotel authorities contacted Ali and the latter apologized for making such comments.
Meanwhile, Ali gave an interview for a TV channel, about the same issue. In that programme, he said that, all those comments are just for fun and to entertain everybody. No heroines objected me and even my wife enjoyed it. Proving this, even Ali’s wife spoke to the media, that his husband is born to entertain the people.
Annapurna Sunkara, a common girl, with no background, has busted on Ali in the past, saying that, he does not have basic sense, how could he get a doctorate with this attitude? The video went viral in the social networking sites.
Responding to that issue, Ali and his wife said that, those allegations are baseless.
Ali and his wife even responded on comments of Annapurna Sunkara, who criticized Ali for his comments, saying that, her comments are baseless.
Finally, Ali said, “I am frightened that, there might come a day, where my daughter asks me about my vulgar comments. I never intended to hurt any women. All those comments are just to entertain. But, as the women felt that they are hurt, Iam apologizing them. I am no more going to utter anything in any public functions.”
