It was already in the news that, Kollywood super star Dhanush is making his debut in Hollywood soon.
After the news was out, not just Dhanush or Rajinikanth fans, but the entire Kollywood movie lovers are excited about it.
Boosting the excitement further, Dhanush now took to his twitter and announced that the title of the film to be ‘The Fakir’.
“Elated to sign my first Hollywood film @The-Fakir, directed by Marjane Satrapi. A big thank you to all for the warm wishes, keeps pushing me!” Dhanush tweeted.
Along with Dhanush, the movie even has Uma Thurman of Kill Bill fame and Alexandra Daddario of True Detective fame, in the lead roles.
Dhanush’s character is that of an Indian magician named Aja. His mother sends him to Paris on a clandestine mission. The film is based on a French best-seller by the same name, written by Romain Puértolas.
Few Indian actors like Irfan Khan, Anupam Kher, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Amithab Bachchan and recently, even Priyanka Chopra were identified well in Hollywood. Now it is the turn of Dhanush to prove his capability over there.
Dhanush has a huge craze among the Kollywood masses. The opening collections of his movies prove those. But this Hollywood flick ‘The Fakir’ is nothing to do with his craze, as it is an experimental character.
Keeping in mind, Dhanush’s market in the country, the movie would even release in India too. It should be seen, how the fans receive their hero in a non-commercial role.
