A police official said that, last week, an unknown person alerted Mumbai police, about the possible threat to Salman Khan.

On February 16th, the Police Control Room received the first call and the following day, the second call.

There is no such clarification, whether one or more persons are planning threat to Salman, as the anonymous caller said that, he overheard few people, who were planning to harm the Bollywood star.

The calls were soon traced to PCOs in south Mumbai's Marine Lines and suburban Malad.

As of now, the police did not lodge any complaint or took any cognizance of the matter, but are trying to trace out the caller, by checking CCTVs installed in those areas for performing investigations further.

On the other side, the nation wide fans of Sallu Bhai are now worried about the news and that is pressurizing the officials to work on the case and solve the mystery as soon as possible.
