Being the hot Bollywood property, Deepika Padukone earned a huge fame in a short time. Most of her films even did well in the overseas. But sadly, none recognized the beauty in her recent meeting with tennis player Novak Djokovic.

None of the foreign media recognized Deepika and addressed her as a ‘leggy brunette’, “female companion” etc. While a few of the actress fans were disappointed at this, most of the twitter followers took the issue to the trending spot, laughing out loud.  

If an on screen popular actress itself is not recognized, how can a producer even though he is popular, would be recognized? It is innocence of Karan Johar, who expected people to recognize him in other countries.

Sharing about an incident of such, in his Koffee with Karan last season, the producer explained, “So I was at this airport and someone walked to me, smiling. Then he was like, 'You are.. You are..' pointing his finger towards me. And I was nodding my head. Then he said, 'You are Rajkumar Santoshi?' and I could not stop laughing.”

Enjoying a huge stardom within the country, but not even recognizable in other countries, even after Bollywood has bigger market in overseas, is truly a bitter experience. However, producers like Karan Johar, would take it in a sportive way, but it would really be a tough deal for Deepika, whose ego levels were earlier spotted in the several media meetings.
