Nagarjuna is one such hero in Tollywood, who is never found jealous of any of his co-stars and in fact, he will be first in the list to appreciate good films and good stars, even though they are his competitors.
Now, showing his big heart in public, for another time, the 50+ ever young hero, has said, “During his full on active times in films, there are only four heroes- Chiranjeevi, Balakrishna, Venkatesh and me, but in the present times, about 15 heroes are active.”
“But most of them are following the same path and are so finding tough to gain a success. Why should anyone come to the theatre, when all the heroes does the same. Pawan Kalyan has his own identity and even Mahesh Babu has his own style and so acquired that craze. Unless making that identity felt, success is tough to be witnessed by any star,” the Akkineni hero said.
At a point of time, when the Telugu cinema is moving forward with the regular commercial entertainers, consisting of item numbers, massy fights and all, it was Nag, who redefined the Telugu cinema, with several path breaking films like Shiva, Geethanjali etc.
Now his son, Naga Chaitanya, is again doing the same, coming up with his identical subjects. Saahasam Swaasaga Saagipo and Premam are up for release. Both the films have secured huge hype, even before the release.
Taking Naga Chaitanya as a live example, hope the young heroes think about Nagarjuna’s advice and try for their identity, rather than moving forward with the age old filmy formula.
