After Film actress and former MP Jayaprada visited pilgrim centre Mahanandi, in Kurnool district she has decided to develop the temple. She said that she would apprise the Central and State Governments on the need to develop the temple.
Jayaprada visited Mahanandi temple and offered prayers to Sri Mahanandeeswara Swamy and Sri Kameswari Devi.
Mahanandi temple superintendent Easwar Reddy and temple inspector Surendranath Reddy welcomed her.
She also stated that it was her first visit to the temple. The actress stressed the need for developing the ancient temple into a tourist spot.
The actress-turned-politician also added that she was acting in “Sarabha”, a Telugu feature film, being directed by a new director Narasimhan and would make a re-entry into Tollywood.
