Movie Moghal D Ramanaidu always wished to produce a film with his grandson Naga Chaitanya as a hero. The legendary producer said “on many occasions that he wants to remake his classic hit Ramudu Bheemudu with Chay and Tarak.”
However, Ramanaidu passed away in early 2015 after battling cancer and his wish was never fulfilled. Now, the latest buzz is that Naga Chaitanya has recently signed a film for Suresh Productions, the banner on which Ramanaidu produced nearly 150 movies.
Apparently, Naga Chaitanya will be teaming up with a debut director named Krishna and the movie will be produced by Ramanaidu's son and leading producer Suresh Babu, elder brother of Chay's mother Lakshmi Daggubati.
The pre-production work has already begun and rumours have it that this film is a remake of the super hit Punjabi film Singh Vs Kaur. Lavanya Tripathi maybe romancing Chay in this film, which will be shot simultaneously along with Chay's next film in Kalyan Krishna's direction and Annapurna Studios production.
