Actress Rakul Preet Singh is celebrating her 26th Birthday today. She is presently busy shooting for her forthcoming untitled movie under the direction of AR Murugadoss. Superstar Mahesh Babu is playing the role of Intelligence offer.
Rakul was Born in a Punjabi family in New Delhi on 10 October 1990. She did her schooling from Army Public School, Dhaula Kuan and later studied Mathematics at Jesus and Mary College, University of Delhi. She has been an active golf player and played nationals.
She started her modeling career while she was in college. During her college days, she also made her acting debut in the Kannada film Gilli (2009). In 2011, she participated in the Femina Miss India pageant in which she was placed fifth and won five pageant titles, including 'Miss India People’s Choice'.
She later chose to become a full-time actress, making her Telugu debut in ‘Keratam’ the same year and her Tamil debut in ‘Thadaiyara Thaakka’, the following year. In 2014 she also made her Bollywood debut in ‘Yaariyan’ in which her performance was better received.
Rakul has delivered a number of hit Telugu movies as ‘Rough’, ‘Loukyam’, ‘Current Theega’, ‘Pandaga Chesko’, ‘Kick 2’, ‘Bruce Lee - The Fighter’, ‘Nannaku Prematho’ and ‘Sarrainodu’. Currently, the Diva has become one of the most popular actresses of Tollywood and has a number of movies in her hands as Bellamkonda Sreenivas and Boyapati Sriinu’s next, Sai Dharam Tej and Gopichand Malineni's untitled movie, Ram Charan and Surender Reddy’s Dhruva, Naga Chaitanya and Kalyan Krishna’s next.
