Sonakshi Sinha made her Bollywood debut opposite Salman Khan's career defining 'Chulbul Pandey' in 'Dabangg'.

However, not much is known about her days prior to entering tinsel-town.

A video of her presenting Karan Johar with a Best Director award for his directorial, 'Kuch Kuch Hota Hai,' has resurfaced on the internet. A very geeky and shy Sonakshi can be seen sticking to her daddy's side, charmed by the gaze of the enormous audience glued onto her.

Veteran director Subhash Ghai calls 12-year-old Sonakshi more beautiful than her superstar father, much to the amusement of the father-daughter duo. He then proceeds on to declare that she'd be announcing the name of the winner.

"Sarvashresht Nirdeshak ka puraskar diya jaata hai Sri Karan Johar ko, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai ke liye', announces a very sheepish Sonakshi.
