Tollywood Actor Nagarjuna’s younger son Akhil Akkineni got engaged to his longtime girlfriend Shriya Bhupal on Friday night at GVK House, Hyderabad. Shriya is the granddaughter of GVK Group’s head GVK Reddy. Their engagement ceremony was totally a family event and strictly a private affair. Only close friends, Relatives and family members were invited.

The engagement pics of Akhil and Shriya have gone viral on social media. Akhil Akkineni started dating Shriya Bhupal after he met her at an event a few years ago.

Last year, the couple informed their respective families and they got a nod from both sides. Akhil’s fiancé Shriya Bhupal is a fashion designer who is the official costume designer for Filmfare South. She has also designed many outfits for popular stars like Bollywood actress Shraddha Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Tollywood actresses like Shriya Saran, Kajal Agarwal, Rakul Preet and many from the film industry.

According to Sources, "the marriage will be taking place sometime in February 2017 which will be a destination event, in an undisclosed foreign country.Earlier Akhil’s elder Brother and actor Naga Chaitanya revealed that Akhil marriage will be in Rome, Italy."
