Tollywood Heroine Dubs In Her Own Voice For Upcoming Film

Tollywood heroine Catherine Tresa will dub for her character for the first time in Telugu, in her upcoming film “Gautham Nanda”.

The film stars action hero Gopichand and is being helmed by director Sampath Nandi. Catherine has started lending her own voice in Telugu for the film. The high budgeted lavish looking film is produced by J Bhagavan and J Pulla Rao on Sri Balaji Cine Media banner.

“I play a modern and energetic girl character, Madhura in Gautham Nanda. Most of my portions are shot in Bangkok and director Sampath Nandi presented me very glamorously. I completed dubbing for my role in the film. In fact, I am trying to dub my voice from many days because it is a part of my job which helps enhance my performance. I made a trial and Sampath sir liked it. This is a good learning experience to play with words and match the emotions.”

“Dubbing is also little difficult because I have to relive all the emotions and express my feelings watching them on screen. Moreover, I am not perfect in Telugu and still learning it. I am very happy and thank Sampath sir for giving me the opportunity to use my own voice,” Catherine Tresa said with excitement.

Director Sampath Nandi said, “Catherine Tresa did a wonderful job in dubbing. She added the needful depth and emotion into words. She never looked like a fresher at dubbing. I am very happy with the final output.”

Catherine Tresa Gopichand Gautam Nanda Movie

“The post-production works of Gautam Nanda are in progress. Catherine Tresa did a good job by dubbing the voice on own for her character. We finished the entire talkie part. Two songs are left pending and shooting will begin soon. Director Sampath Nandi’s script is the strength of Gautham Nanda. This will be the best film in his career and best in our banner. We will release the teaser very soon and announce the audio launch, release dates,” the producers said.

Catherine who got noticed with Stylish Star Allu Arjun’s Iddarammayilatho, is juggling with both Telugu and Tamil. Despite hailing from Malayalam family settled in Dubai where she was raised and studied in Bangalore, Catherine learnt Telugu and she is now lending her voice in the language.

It is good to see an outsider learn Telugu and dub in the language !!
