Kamal Hassan Reacts To Controversy Surrounding His Show - “Bigg Boss” Tamil:- Actor Kamal Hassan during a recent press meet, addressed the controversy surrounding his show “Bigg Boss” Tamil and said that he was not worried about it all.
Contrary to perception, the reality show is not affecting or harming Tamil culture in any way whatsoever, added the Tamil actor.
“I am not worried about the case against Bigg Boss or me. I have belief in our law and our judiciary system and in our Government. I do not have to answer to the people who have filed the case. I cannot accept the fact that the show is killing our culture and tradition. The show has been happening for the past eleven years in Bollywood. Bigg Boss is as necessary as, how cricket is necessary for the country. I am grateful to the people, who have belief and faith in me,” he added.
In case you did not know, a complaint had been filed by a Tamil Nadu-based activist group against ‘Bigg Boss’. It claimed that the content of the show was against Tamil culture. The group even demanded that for hosting such a ‘vulgar’ show, the actor should be put behind bars.
Based on Kamal Hassan’s comments, it seems that he firmly believes in his show and is quite unperturbed by these developments.
On a related note, this seems to be a busy time for Haasan. He has two films currently in his kitty. They are ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ and ‘Sabaash Naidu’. While ‘Vishwaroopam 2’ is touted to be a spy-thriller, ‘Sabaash Naidu’ is said to be a spy-comedy and also features Shruti Haasan in the lead.
