Nandita Das to Replace Tabu in 'Virata Parvam':- The versatile actress Nandita Das has replaced Tabu, who works predominantly in Bollywood, in Rana Daggubati and Sai Pallavi starrer ‘Virata Parvam’.
According to reports, Tabu has walked out of the project as the movie’s shoot is getting deferred and her dates are being frittered away.
The movie shoot was getting postponed as Rana is undergoing treatment for his kidney ailment in the United States.
The makers then have approached Nandita Das and she willingly signed this film. She has joined the sets and is now shooting for the movie in Hyderabad.
However, Nandita Das says she is not replacing anyone. “Too much speculation! I am doing the film for the script, the director's vision and the role. Had no idea who I was replacing and how does it matter! In Hyderabad, starting to shoot today. Nervous about speaking Telugu! Wish me luck pls,” she tweeted.
This is Nandita’s second film in Tollywood after ‘Kamlee’. Director Venu Udugula of ‘Needi Naadi Oke Katha’ is directing ‘Virata Parvam’. He is presently canning sequences that don’t require the presence of Rana. Sai Pallavi is the lead actress of this movie.
