Rajinikanth's Darbar Gets a New Release Date:- Superstar Rajinikanth hasn't tasted success in the recent years in Telugu. His Telugu market reached rock bottom and the veteran actor is in plans to bounce back with his next film which is titled Darbar. AR Murugadoss is the director of this high voltage action drama and Nayanthara is the leading lady. The entire shoot of Darbar has been wrapped up and the film is currently occupied with the post-production work. Lyca Productions are the producers.

The makers initially wanted to release the film on January 12th next year. But with Mahesh Babu's Sarileru Neekevvaru and Allu Arjun's Ala Vaikunthapurramuloo announced for January 12th release and some others slated for release during Sankranthi, Darbar has been slated for January 9th release. The film will release in Telugu, Hindi and Tamil languages simultaneously. Anirudh is composing the music and Rajinikanth will be seen essaying the role of a cop in one of the roles.
