Megastar Heaps Praise on ANR:- Megastar Chiranjeevi was invited as the Chief Guest for ANR National Awards Event that took place last evening in Annapurna Studios, Hyderabad. This year legendary actresses Sridevi and Rekha received the awards. On Sridevi's behalf, her husband Boney Kapoor received the award from Chiranjeevi. During his speech, Chiranjeevi turned emotional and he reminded about the bonding he had with ANR during several events and while shooting for the film Mechanic Alludu.

Chiranjeevi lauded the dedication of ANR and how he energetic he was even after reaching the age of the nineties. Chiranjeevi said that his mother is a huge fan of ANR and she never missed a movie of the legendary actor. Megastar even said that he was fortunate to make it to Telugu cinema when legendary actors like NTR and ANR are leading the race. The entire Akkineni family along with some legendary Telugu personalities attended the grand event.
