Prakash Raj All Set To Play Karunanidhi:- After the demise of Tamil Nadu ex-Chief Minister Jayalalithaa, a bunch of biopics on her life story are announced. Telugu producer Vishnu Induri is holding the rights of her life story and the film is titled Thalaivi. The film is in final stages of pre-production and the regular shoot commences in December. AL Vijay is the director of this prestigious project and Bollywood beauty Kangana Ranaut is on board to reprise the role of Jayalalithaa on screen.

As per the latest news, veteran actor Prakash Raj has been roped in to essay the role of Karunanidhi in this prestigious biopic. Prakash Raj was all excited and signed the film without any second thought. Karunanidhi happened to be the rival of Jayalalithaa and the makers wanted a prominent actor for the role. Prakash Raj already played the same role in Mani Ratnam's Iddaru earlier. Prakash Raj will join the sets from January 2020. Vishnu Induri will produce Thalaivi which will be shot simultaneously in Tamil, Telugu and Hindi languages. Thalaivi will hit the screens during the end of 2020.
