Shruti Haasan has been roped in as the leading lady in the film but after the coronavirus lockdown got imposed, there are several speculations about the film. The actress during an interview said that she is not a part of Vakeel Saab which left the makers and Pawan fans in confusion.

With the shoots starting soon, the makers approached Shruti Haasan and the actress agreed to shoot for the film. She is said to have allocated ten days for the shoot of the film. She will be seen playing Pawan's wife and has a crisp role in Vakeel Saab. The shoot of the film is expected to start in July and Pawan will complete his shoot for the movie.
