Netflix Testing An Affordable Plan For Indian Viewers:- Netflix gained enough number of audience across India but still, the plans are not affordable for everyone. Some of them argue that it is wise to charge more because of the content the digital giant is having. Other OTT players like Amazon Prime, Disney Plus Hotstar, Zee5 are offering a yearly subscription for Rs 999. Netflix is charging Rs 799 per month (4K for 4 users), Rs 649 (HD for 2 users). They even introduced two mobile plans: Rs 349 (HD) and Rs 199 (SD). These are quite high when compared to the other digital players.

Netflix is in plans to make the Rs 349 mobile plan more flexible considering the Indian market. Through this plan, the user can stream the content of Netflix on phone, computer and a tablet. This is quite reasonable when compared to the Rs 799 plan. A spokesperson from Netflix said "We launched the Mobile Plan in India to make it easier for anyone with a smartphone to enjoy Netflix. We are eager to see if the audience will love this new plan which is flexible. If the response is good, this plan would be kept for a long time. Else it would be scrapped". Through Rs 349 plan, the audience can view content on one device at a time.
