Change of Plan for Megastar's Acharya:- Megastar Chiranjeevi commenced the shoot of his next film Acharya in January this year. The makers are quite confident that they would complete the shoot and release the film for Dasara 2020. Koratala Siva, the film's director managed to mix the right amounts of action, emotional drama, entertainment and social message. The film is made on a huge budget and the film's shoot involves over 150 members of the crew on a regular basis. Though the shoots of other films resumed with a limited cast, crew members on the sets, Chiranjeevi wanted the makers to wait for some more time.

Koratala Siva is in plans to resume the shoot from October and he would shoot the portions that doesn't need Chiranjeevi. Koratala Siva also made changes for the script after the arrival of the pandemic. The schedule will take place with a limited cast, crew members. Chiranjeevi is expected to join the sets from November if the things calm down. The unit will shoot with a limited crew as of now. Kajal is the leading lady and Ram Charan has an important role in this action entertainer. Matinee Entertainments and Konidela Production Company are the producers. Acharya releases for summer 2021.
