Keerthy Suresh in Chiranjeevi's Vedhalam Remake:- Megastar Chiranjeevi is ready with a strong lineup of films. After the attack of coronavirus, the top actor locked three back to back projects. He is currently busy with Koratala Siva's Acharya and the film is aimed for summer release. The shoot of the film resumes in November. Chiranjeevi will be next seen in the remake of Vedhalam, a Tamil blockbuster film. The film will be directed by Meher Ramesh and the entir script work of the film is completed. The shoot commences from April once Chiranjeevi completes his part for Acharya.

The sister's role in the film has enough prominence in Vedhalam remake. Meher Ramesh is holding talks with Sai Pallavi and Keerthy Suresh for the role. Both the actresses responded on a positive note. Chiranjeevi is said to have voted for Keerthy Suresh and the makers finalized her recently. Keerthy Suresh too signed the dotted line. The movie is aimed for Dasara release next year and Rana Daggubati will be seen in other important role. Anil Sunkara's AK Entertainments will produce Vedhalam remake. Mahati Swara Sagar composes the music and background score.
